What we produce

What we produce

100% Italian red gold

Thanks to the close crop location, Tomato Farm S.p.A. processes on average 1500 tons of freshly harvested tomatoes per day. Our main objective is to produce high-quality semi-finished products, such as: pulps, purées, semi-concentrated and concentrated pastes of different Brix levels made both with traditional and organic tomatoes.

These products are packed in high-capacity (200-1,000 kg) and medium-capacity (5-10-20 kg) containers guaranteeing maximum hygiene and preservation thanks to aseptic filling.

Tomato Farm produces:

  • Diced round and oblong tomatoes (10x10 to 19x19)
  • Fine pulp
  • Tomato purée with 6-8, 8-10 and 10-12° Brix
  • Green tomato purée with 10-12° Brix
  • Semi-concentrated tomato paste with 12-14, 14-16 and 16-18° Brix
  • Hot and Cold Break concentrated paste 22-24, 28-30° Brix
  • Triple concentrated paste 36-38° Brix
  • Products and packaging according to client demands

Diced tomatoes: product obtained from round and oblong tomatoes that are fresh, healthy, ripe, well-washed, peeled and diced (10x10 to 19x19 cm), with added tomato juice. Aseptic filling in compliance with regulations in force. To be used as a ready-made base for culinary preparations.

Purée 6-12° Brix: a “tomato purée” is a product obtained directly from fresh, healthy and ripe tomatoes with the right colour, aroma and flavour. The produce is squeezed, then skin, seeds as well as part of the water are eliminated so that the optical refractometric residue is between 5 and 12° Brix with a 3% tolerance, net of any added salt.

A ready-to-use base for the preparation of condiments or industrial reprocessings. It can also be repackaged as it is.

Green tomato purée 10-12° Brix: product made with the juice of fresh, healthy, ripe, well-washed green tomatoes with no skins or seeds, evaporated to the point that the optical residue is not below 10°Brix. Aseptic filling in compliance with regulations in force.

A ready-to-use base for the preparation of condiments and green vegetable sauces.

Semi-concentrated paste 12-14, 16-18° Brix: product made with the juice of fresh, healthy, ripe, well-washed tomatoes with no skins or seeds, evaporated to the point that the optical residue is not below 12°Brix. Aseptic filling in compliance with regulations in force.

A ready-to-use base for the preparation of condiments or industrial reprocessings. It can also be repackaged as it is.

Triple concentrated paste 36-38° Brix: product made with the juice of fresh, healthy, ripe, well-washed tomatoes with no skins or seeds, evaporated to the point that the optical residue is not below 36°Brix. Aseptic filling in compliance with regulations in force.

A ready-to-use base for the preparation of condiments or industrial reprocessings. It can also be repackaged as it is.

Double Hot and Cold Break concentrated paste 28-30° Brix: product made with the juice of fresh, healthy, ripe, well-washed tomatoes with no skins or seeds, evaporated to the point that the optical residue is not below 28°Brix. Aseptic filling in compliance with regulations in force.

A ready-to-use base for the preparation of condiments or industrial reprocessings. It can also be repackaged as it is.

In addition to our traditional products, we can also develop products that are innovative from a packaging, technical characteristic and format point of view to meet client demands.

Production chain

Attention to detail... from field to table!

Thanks to its technical team, Tomato Farm directly supervises the entire production chain:

  • 1Seed planting in greenhouses: varietal choice and transplant schedule in line with a collection plan agreed upon with the various POs;
  • 2Seed to plant: delivery of the plants to growers for planting in the fields;
  • 3Transplant: Tomato Farm technicians and the POs follow all transplant and rooting stages;
  • 4Cultivation: the entire cultivation stage as well as the correct implementation of regulations are technically supervised by Tomato Farm in cooperation with the POs;
  • 5Harvesting: harvesting and collection are agreed upon with the POs and the producers in compliance with the processing schedule drawn up weekly by Tomato Farm;
  • 6Packaging - carried out at our facility. The sterilised produce is mechanically inserted in aseptic sacks of the dimensions required by clients;
  • 7Commercialisation - Tomato Farm mainly supplies the secondary processing industry both in Italy and abroad (50% Italian - 50% foreign market).
